VLC media player is one of the broadly used media players that we have so far. It not only plays videos, but also has some other facilities. You can adjust the brightness and color of the video, can change the video geometry and crop the video too. Besides all these it has
motion detection and clone creation feature. You can create numbers of VlC window playing the same video in all the windows with clone option. If you have compared the sound of a VLC player with others then you might have got the difference. So it is the perfect player with multiple features.
I have already published an article describing the process of changing video geometry in VLC player. So today I will exclude this and will be describing the other features.
Have a look at the extra features
In this tutorial I am using VLC media player 2.0.6 Twoflower. So it will be better for you, if you install this version of VLC before learning this tutorial. You can download it from filehippo.com
1) Play a video using VLC
2) Now go to 'Tools' then 'Effects and Filters'
3) You will have multiple options ( Take the help of below screenshot)
4) Now to Crop the video go to crop tab, if you are interested in changing the color of the video then go to color tab and so on. In the following video I have described the Advanced feature. Take a look
Point to be noted
Be careful about 'what the default settings was', because if you don't care about the default settings and apply the effects randomly, the settings might be messed up, then you wont be able to watch the videos well.
